"The Relocation" in Liberties Journal

Y’AAALLLL!!

How could I have been so remiss!

I’ve forgotten to share my most recent publication! This brief, flash, creative nonfiction essay titled “The Relocation,” was published in this beautiful edition of Liberties Journal of Culture and Politics in July.

The 1000-word essay is an American southern gothic inspired by my next-door neighbors in North Albuquerque Acres; it focuses on midlife, family, and longevity.

Special thanks to my two writing groups for all their valuable feedback on this piece, and thanks to Liberties Journal and their editor, Celeste Marcus, for finding enough beauty in it to select it for publication!

To read the piece, please visit Liberties Journal, select “The Relocation” by Meg Vlaun, and either subscribe or apply for their free sample.

Cheers!

~Meg
